Dynamo Pardubice are a professional ice hockey club that play in the Czech Extraliga.
The club dates its history back to 1923 when the first ice hockey club in the city was founded. The club fought its way into Czechoslovakia's first division ahead of the 1950/51 season and has never been relegated since then.
Pardubice have won the national championship six times, including three times since 2005. The club can rely on a wide fan base, and their home games at the Enteria Arena regularly attract one of the highest annual attendances in the country.
They have produced a number of world-renowned hockey players such as IIHF Hall of Fame member Vladimír Martinec, legendary NHL goalie Dominik Hašek and NHL star Aleš Hemský.
Their biggest rivals are Mountfield HK from neighbouring Hradec Králové, who hosted the CHL Final in 2019/20.
The Czech club have played three seasons in the Champion Hockey League but have never made it past the Group Stage. Pardubice's qualification for the 2023/24 marks their return to the pan-European competition for the first time since 2017.
