Rögle Ängelholm qualified for their first-ever Champions Hockey League season in 2020/21 thanks to a historic run in the Swedish Hockey League.
The team from Ängelholm has been playing in the country's top flight consistently since 2015/16 and recorded their highest-ever finish of third at the end of the 2019/20 season - beating their previous high of sixth in 1994.
The club was founded in 1932 as a bandy team, which is why they're known as Rögle BK (for 'Bandyklubb').
The team's current Head Coach Cam Abbot and his twin brother Chris Abbot (who is Rögle's General Manager) are both CHL Champions from their time with Luleå (2014/15 CHL Champions).
