Rögle Ängelholm qualified for their first-ever Champions Hockey League season thanks to an historic run in the 2019/20 Swedish Hockey League.
The team from Ängelholm has been playing in the country's top flight consistently since 2015/16 and recorded their highest-ever finish of third by the end of the 2019/20 season - beating a previous high of sixth in 1994.
The club was founded in 1932 as a bandy team, which is why they're known as Rögle BK (for 'Bandyklubb'). The team's current Head Coach is Cam Abbot, who is a CHL champion from his time with Luleå.
