Brian O'Neill is just one of those players that seems to be everywhere on the ice.
The 34-year-old ex-Nhler might be in his first season with EV Zug, and in his first season in the CHL, but he hasn't needed much time to adjust because he's already scored 17 points (6G, 11A) in the pan-European competition!
With a record of over 1.5 points per game, the forward has skated out for each and every Zug game so far this season and is the perfect modern forward who can transition through roles on the attack.
He doesn't shy away from taking shots on himself, as proved by the fact that nearly a third of his 20 shots on goal have hit the netting.
O'Neill has scored in regulation, in overtime, in equal strength situations and on the powerplay, but his most important goal was an OT game-winner against Mountfield HK in their Quarter-Finals Return Game.
His goal, a nifty solo spin in tight space in front of the net, lifted his team over the Czechs and secured Swiss side Zug their first-ever place in the CHL Semi-Finals.
You can vote for Brian O'Neill as your LGT MVP for 2022/23 from Sunday, 15 January at 17:00 CET here.
