Luleå Hockey's Julius Honka has been a consistent and important member of the Swedish team's line-up throughout their 2022/23 Champions Hockey League campaign.

The 27-year-old ex-NHLer has racked up six points (3G, 3A) in ten games and leads the entire CHL in plus/minus with an outstanding +15!

Honka, who excells in two-way play, has racked up 47 shots on goal, firing a shot on goal an average of nearly five times a game.

The Finnish defenceman even went as far as to lead his team in shots on goal in two of Luleå's Playoff games, recording seven shots on target on both occasions.

But there's more to his play than just the numbers - Honka is a strong and dependable D-man who is strong on the puck and can drive it up the ice and likes to let loose when the chance arises.

He doesn't always get in on the final passing or scoring action, but he gives the initial spark or tests the waters himself.
