The Champions Hockey League Round of 16 ended in spectacular fashion with three more teams across Europe edging into the Quarter-Finals to seal their place in the Top 8 of the 2024/25 season.
And with five qualifiers on Tuesday, we now have a full line-up for the Quarter-Finals - here they all are!
Pinguins Bremerhaven
After qualifying for the Playoffs for the very first time in their Champions Hockey League history, rising DEL stars Pinguins Bremerhaven kept their European journey on a direct course for the Quarter-Finals, comfortably dispatching last season's CHL Finalists Skellefteå AIK in their two-game series.
Färjestad Karlstad
Regular Season Winners Färjestad Karlstad were in for a big shock in their Return Game against Tappara Tampere but when the going got tough, the Swedes powered through to secure their place in the Top 8 with an OT game-winner!
Växjö Lakers
The Swedes make it two back-to-back seasons qualifying for the Quarter-Finals! They haven't been as clinical as last season, but their grit, solid goaltending and defence have made them a formidable opponent this season. Watch out for these former CHL Finalists!
Eisbären Berlin
The reigning DEL champions keep their great CHL form this season going with two strong Round of 16 games against challengers the Sheffield Steelers! Did you know Eisbären Berlin are in the Quarter-Finals for the very first time in their seven CHL seasons?
Sparta Prague
When the Round of 16 match-ups were revealed at the end of the Regular Season, it was clear there was only going to be space for one Czech team in the Quarter-Finals. With the two games of the series between Oceláři Třinec and Sparta Prague now behind us, it's the team from the capital in the Top 8!
ZSC Lions Zurich
The mighty ZSC Lions Zurich are in top form this season! The reigning Swiss champions head into the December CHL games with a strong 7-1 W-L record having just steamed past Straubing Tigers by an 11-3 aggregate win.
Genève-Servette
The reigning CHL Champions are well in the race for the European Trophy! After a Regular Season struggle which saw the European Club Champions finish 14th, Genève-Servette fired their way into the Top 8 with a huge 12-4 aggregate win over local rivals Lausanne HC. Can they go all the way again?
Red Bull Salzburg
The Austrian team backed up their stellar Regular Season performance in which they found themselves in eighth place at the end of Game Day 6 with an even better Round of 16 showing! Their match-up with the Lahti Pelicans was evenly-matched, yet Red Bull Salzburg came out on top with a whopping 7-1 aggregate score to qualify for the Top 8 for the first time since 2018/19!
