Fans can virtually show their support for their favourite teams during the Champions Hockey League Semi-Finals. Taking part in the fan campaign will be worth it, as one lucky winner will be drawn from all the entries to win a VIP trip for two to the ultimate climax of the European club ice hockey season – the CHL Final!
With only four teams remaining in contention for the European Trophy and the Semi-Finals set to start any day now, it’s crunch time in the Champions Hockey League. The only thing on everyone’s mind is who will move on to the Final and compete to be crowned European club Champions in the CHL Final on 18 February 2023. Will it be four-time winners Frölunda Gothenburg? 2014/15 Champions Luleå Hockey? Last season’s Finalists Tappara Tampere or reigning Swiss champions EV Zug, who managed to turn their domestic playoff finals series around from 0-3 to go all the way last season?
All of them are clubs with huge fan bases, but as they head into this crucial part of the season, they need all the support they can get – in arenas but also virtually! Which is why the CHL has teamed up with ‘Seyu - Together for victory!’ to enable every fan who follows the game, even those who are thousands of kilometres away, to cheer for his/her favourite team and support the players in their pursuit of success. With Seyu, fans can take selfies, add motivating messages to their photos and see them appear in real-time on the jumbotrons in the arenas. This way, fans can have a unique game day experience, while the players can see and feel the support of their devoted fans.

How does it work?
Participation is free of charge. Use this link to sign up and start taking selfies with motivating messages. Once the posted photo is approved, lucky fans’ emotional photos will be displayed on the jumbotron in the arena for players to see and feel the support that comes from their fan bases. Fans are also encouraged to proudly post their selfies on their own social media channels to show the world who they are rooting for!

*Competition Terms & Conditions
By submitting a photo via the Seyu app, you agree to the following terms and conditions of this competition:
1. Participation
The competition is open to residents of the European Union, as well as to residents of Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or get permission from their parents to travel alone if they win the competition and the trip to the CHL Final. People enter to the competition by posting pictures via the Seyu app. The participants agree that the CHL can use their photos, which were entered into the competition, in any way they wish without timing restrictions.
2. Determining and informing the winner
The winner shall be determined by a jury. Once the winner has been determined, he/she shall be informed in writing. The winner is required to respond within 48 hours. Otherwise, the prize shall be drawn again. The winner will be drawn and notified after the Semi-Final Return Games, by 25 January 2023 at the latest.
3. Distribution of prize
The prize shall be distributed only to the prize-winner. The prize contains a well-defined package for two persons (winner + companion), including:
Economy flight from the winner’s home country to the host city of the Final game (outbound 18 February 2023 / inbound 19 February 2023)
Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back
Transfer from the hotel to the arena and back
Hotel (one night stay in a double or twin room, including breakfast)
CHL VIP final ticket including hospitality at the venue
The CHL or its travel agency may liaise with the winner to discuss suitable travel arrangements (for example, preferred departure airports and flight times), however all flight, hotel and transport arrangements are at the CHL’s and the agency’s sole discretion.
The winner and his/her companion will be required to confirm the prize acceptance in written form and submit copies of their passports to enable the CHL and its travel agency to make the required arrangements. At the CHL’s and/or its agency’s request, the winner shall provide any further personal details (for himself/herself and his/her companion) which the CHL/agency may reasonably require.
The winner is responsible for all travel and other related expenses not forming part of the winning prize, including but not limited to transport to and from the winner’s home to the airport, travel insurance, and any meals or other refreshments which are not clearly declared as part of the winner package.
The prize may not be exchanged or redeemed for equivalent cash value.
5. Disqualification from contest
The CHL is entitled to exclude participants from the contest if there is justifiable evidence for doing so, e.g. infringement against the rules, influencing the contest or manipulation etc.
6. Legal recourse
No correspondence shall be entered into with regard to the contest. No legal recourse is possible. No grounds exist for an actionable claim for delivery, payment of the prize in cash or exchange of the prize. The CHL is not responsible for any technical problems which may occur.
7. Changes to rules and closure of the contest
The CHL reserves the right to change the conditions relating to the draw and further reserves the right to close or suspend the contest at any time. This applies in particular if reasons exist that would disrupt or prevent the contest from taking place as planned.
8. Liability limitations
Within the confines of the law, the CHL shall be exempt from any liability. The decision of the CHL for the winner will be final and binding. By participating, entrants agree that they have read, understood and agree to these contest terms & conditions and release the CHL from all liability in connection with the competition and/or any prize.
9. Safeguard clause
If certain terms of the conditions of participation prove to be ineffective or impracticable, this shall have no impact on the effectiveness of the contract in general. Such terms shall be replaced by more effective and more practicable terms, whose effectiveness most closely meets the objectives. The CHL may alter these conditions of participation at any time.
