On a team featuring Sebastian Repo and Brayden Burke, you may not have noticed just how lethal Lukko Rauma's Tarmo Reunanen has been in the 2023/24 season of the Champions Hockey League.
With 10 points (4G,6A) in 10 games played, the 25-year-old offensively-minded d-man has been making plays up and down the ice and even been taking it upon himself to score.
A game-winning goal, a short-handed goal and an average of over 20 minutes of ice time per game have made him a crucial part of Lukko's game this season and he's shouldered that responsibility with ease.
Away from all the numbers, Reunanen, a New York Rangers draftee back in 2016, has most importantly been consistent. He hasn't had any crazy games (though a four-point night on Game Day 2 really was something special) but he's been there when he's needed to and has been solid both on the rush and in his own zone - the perfect two-way defenceman!
You can vote for Tarmo Reunanen as your LGT MVP for 2023/24 from Sunday, 14 January at 17:00 CET here.
